Who Can Become a Secular Carmelite?
Practicing Roman Catholics who are...

in full communion with the Church
-
at least 18 years of age
-
able to provide a current official Church copy of Baptismal Certificate
-
provide documentation showing proof of a valid marriage in the Catholic Church
-
not already a member of any other group that requires promises or vows
-
living in the Catholic faith for at least 18 months after Baptism

What are the periods of formation:

Aspirancy - ordinarily 12 sessions
-
Preparation for First/Temporary Promises - 24 sessions
-
Preparation for Definitive Promises - 36 sessions
